Walnut Meatballs

Meatballs aren’t just for pasta! Serve alongside Dillicious Tzatziki for a crowd-pleasing appetizer, in a pita pocket, on a bun, or dished over brown rice. The best part? These meatballs are harbouring a superfood—walnuts are a great source of omega-3's, polyphenols (an anti-oxidant), and Vitamin E, which are all important for a healthy heart!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
  • 3 tbsp light sour cream
  • *1 tbsp Beef & Steak Seasoning or SPG Seasoning
  • 12 cup finely ground walnuts
  • 12 tsp Sea Salt (Grinder)

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 400° F. Line Sheet Pan with a Sheet Pan Liner.
  • Mix all ingredients in mixing bowl.
  • Form into 24 small meatballs. Place on pan. Bake in oven until browned, about 15 minutes.
