Steamed Mussels

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (900 g) mussels, washed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tsp oil or butter
  • 1 cup Vegetable Broth, prepared
  • 1 12 tsp Vegetable Broth Mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 - 2 tsp Rosemary Garlic Seasoning
  • lemon wedge, to garnish

Preparation

  • Sauté onion with oil or butter in pot until soft and translucent.
  • Add broth, wine, seasoning and mussels. Steam for 8–10 minutes.
  • Using a 2-in-1 Citrus Press, add a lively splash of lemon and enjoy.
