Steamed Mixed Vegetables

Extra virgin olive oil is a staple of the Mediterranean diet. Add it to mixed vegetables for bright, bold flavour!

Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots
  • 1 small red onion
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Seasoning

Preparation

  • Peel and chop carrots and onion into equal-sized pieces. Coarsely dice peppers.
  • Place carrots, onion, peppers, broccoli, oil, and seasoning in Round or Multipurpose Steamer. Cover and, holding lid tightly, shake the contents of the steamer to evenly combine.
  • Microwave for 10—12 min or until vegetables are tender.
