Smashed Broccoli

Crispy, cheesy, and full of flavour. This is broccoli for people who don’t like broccoli. Even the pickiest eaters will be converted! Quick and easy, this family-friendly side dish is in the oven in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning or Bruschetta Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 425° F. Line Sheet Pan with Sheet Pan Liner.
  • Place broccoli into Multipurpose Steamer. Cover and microwave on high 3 min, or until tender.
  • Transfer to pan and arrange in a single layer. Using the base of a measuring cup or glass, flatten broccoli into rounds.
  • In a small bowl, combine seasoning and oil. Brush over broccoli. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake 15 min, or until cheese is golden.
