Savoury Cheese Sammies
Ingredients
- 1 recipe prepared Fresh Cheese
- 4 cups milk or soy milk
- 2 tbsp lemon juice , or 1 tbsp + 1 tsp vinegar
- 1⁄2 tbsp Sea Salt , or 1 tbsp dip mix, your choice
- 1⁄4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp dip mix, your choice, optional
- 1 recipe prepared Savoury Cheddar Cookies
- 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1⁄2 tsp Sea Salt
- 1⁄2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Chipotle Aioli Mix
- 8 oz (225 g) finely grated sharp cheddar, about 2 cups
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- toasted sesame seeds, optional
Preparation
- In a bowl, combine fresh cheese with cream cheese. If using plain fresh cheese, stir in dip mix, if desired.
- To serve, sandwich with fresh cheese between cheese crisps. Roll edge sesame seeds, if desired.
