Red Pepper Jelly & Tea-glazed Pork Chop

Fruity and savoury, these pork chops are great for a family dinner or entertaining!

Ingredients

  • 12 cup apple juice
  • 2 tsp Assam black tea
  • 4 (6 oz/170 g) pork loin chops
  • 1 tbsp herbes provencales
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp Red Pepper Jelly

Preparation

  • In a Multipurpose Pot heat apple juice. Remove from heat, add tea, and steep for 5 minutes. Strain and set apple tea aside.
  • Sprinkle pork chops with herbes provençales, Sea Salt, and Black Pepper.
  • Preheat a frying pan to medium. Add vegetable oil and fry pork chops for 3–5 minutes per side. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Pour apple tea into pan and stir vigorously to incorporate all bits. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add Red Pepper Jelly and stir. Once fully incorporated, return pork chops and any juices.
