Ingredients

  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 12 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp chili powder, optional
  • 14 tsp Sea Salt, finely ground
  • 34 cup Red Pepper Jelly

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine cheese, butter, flour, chili powder (if using), and salt. Form into a dough. Cover or wrap; chill 30 min.
  • Preheat oven to 400 F.
  • Roll heaping spoonfuls of dough into balls and press into mini tart pans, forming small tart shells.
  • Spoon about 1 tsp Red Pepper Jelly into each shell and bake 10 min, or until golden-brown.
