Penne with Cherry Tomato Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) whole-grain penne
- 3 cups cherry tomatoes, chopped
- 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1⁄4 cup dry white wine
- 1⁄2 cup Nourish Broth, prepared
- 1 1⁄2 tsp Nourish Broth Mix
- 1 cup boiling water
- 8 large basil leaves, chopped
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1⁄4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1⁄4 tsp crushed chilies, or to taste
Preparation
- In Multipurpose Pot, cook penne according to package directions.
- In a frying pan or Wok over high heat, add tomatoes, oil, wine, Bouillon, basil, Minced Garlic, sugar and crushed chilies, and cook until boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer approximately 10 minutes.
- Add pasta to sauce, toss, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and toss again. Serve immediately.
