Oh Canada Red Berry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 14 cup butter
  • 12 cup all-purpose flour
  • 34 cup sugar
  • 12 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon, divided
  • 12 cup 2% milk or non-dairy milk alternative
  • 4 cups mixed red berries, such as raspberries and chopped strawberries

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375° F.
  • In an 8 cup baking dish, melt butter in microwave on medium heat, 45–60 sec.
  • In mixing bowl, using a fork, combine flour, 1⁄2 cup sugar, baking powder, and 1 tsp Cinnamon. Add milk; stir just until mixed.
  • Pour over melted butter in baking dish. Don’t stir.
  • In same mixing bowl (don’t wash), combine berries with remaining sugar and cinnamon. Pour over batter—don’t stir.
  • Bake until golden brown, uncovered, about 40–45 min.
