'My Spicy Clementine' Martini

Spice up your martini repertoire with this crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 14 cup freshly squeezed clementine juice
  • 14 cup Spiced Clementines, just the syrup
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 pieces crystallized ginger
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 3 - 5 pieces star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 12 - 14 clementines
  • yogurt, chopped pistachios and pomegranate seeds – optional
  • 1 cup gin or vodka
  • ice cubes
  • Spiced Clementines, if desired

Preparation

  • Add juice, syrup, and gin to a cocktail shaker.
  • Add enough ice to fill. Shake well for 8–10 seconds.
  • Strain into chilled martini glasses. Garnish with Spiced Clementines, if desired.
