Hot Buttered Rum Apple Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 tbsp Hot Buttered Rum Mix
  • 2 apples, peel-on, cored and sliced
  • 14 cup prepared Epicure Salad Dressing, your choice
  • 8 cups chopped salad greens
  • 14 English cucumber, thinly sliced

Preparation

  • In a frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in Hot Buttered Rum.
  • When foamy, add apples. Sauté, stirring often, just until apples start to soften, 2–4 minutes. Stir in Salad Dressing, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Place salad greens in a large bowl. Add cucumber, apples, and dressing. Toss to mix. Serve immediately.
