Green Peas and Carrots with Cardamom

Ingredients

  • 1 cup baby carrots, sliced lengthwise
  • 14 cup water
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp whipping cream
  • 14 tsp cardamom seeds
  • 1 lb (450 g) frozen baby peas
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste

Preparation

  • Bring water to a boil in Multipurpose Pot - 8 cup and cook carrots for 2 minutes. Add butter, whipping cream and cardamom seeds and gently heat until bubbling and fragrant.
  • Add frozen peas and cook until peas are heated through and lightly coated with cream mixture. Season with Sea Salt and Pepper and serve.
