Elderflower Tea Margarita
A lemony tea twist on the classic!
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 lime or lemon, cut into wedges
- Sea Salt, enough to trim glass rim
- lemon zest, enough to trim glass rim
- ice cubes
- 1 oz tequila
- 1 oz limoncello liqueur
- 1⁄2 cup Elderflower Cordial Herbal Tea, or green tea of your choice, prepared, chilled
- 4 tbsp lime or lemon juice
Preparation
- Moisten the rim of a margarita glass with a lime or lemon wedge. Sprinkle Sea Salt and lemon zest on a small plate. Invert the glass in the trimmer, rotating gently to “frost” the rim evenly. Set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine remaining ingredients. Add more tea if you are using a highball glass.
- Shake well and strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with a lime or lemon wedge.
