El Dorado Guacamole

Your favourite guacamole with a brand-new face! For an easy and elegant appetizer, simply top with fresh shrimp!

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Guacamole Dip Mix
  • 2 ripe avocados, halved, the flesh mashed and the shells reserved
  • 12 cup light sour cream, optional
  • 1 tbsp lemon or lime juice
  • 1 recipe prepared El Dorado sauce

Preparation

  • Combine Guacamole Dip Mix, avocado, sour cream, if using, and lemon or lime juice. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow flavours to blend.
  • Scoop Guacamole back into avocado halves or bowl. Swirl sauce into Guacamole, and serve.
  • Serve with lime wedges and fresh tortilla chips or crackers.
