Creamy Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Creamy Chowder Seasoning
  • 2 cups milk, your choice
  • 3 cups cubed potatoes
  • 34 cup each diced celery and carrots
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can (10 oz/142 g) clams, including broth

Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk seasoning with milk; set aside.
  • In Multipurpose Steamer, combine potatoes, celery, and carrots with water. Cover and microwave until tender, 10–12 min.
  • Stir in reserved seasoning mixture. Microwave, uncovered, for 15 min, stirring every 5 min until thickened.
  • Stir in clams, including broth. Spoon into bowls.
  • In a bowl, whisk seasoning with milk; set aside.
  • In Multipurpose Pot, combine potatoes, celery, and carrots with water. Cover and cook until tender, 10–12 min.
  • Stir in reserved seasoning mixture. Bring to a boil; remove from heat.
  • Stir in clams, including broth. Spoon into bowls.
