Skip the sodium-packed options at the store—just add a handful of simple, wholesome ingredients and you’ll have a rich, homemade soup in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Broccoli Cheddar Soup Seasoning
  • 2 cups milk, your choice
  • 1 12 cups water
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, fresh or frozen
  • 12 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

  • In a medium pot, whisk seasoning with milk and water. Stir in broccoli. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Lower heat and simmer 5 min, or until broccoli is tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
  • For a smoother soup, purée with an immersion blender, if desired.

Tips

For a richer soup, prepare with whole milk or some cream.
