Big Burger Falafels

This is a summer barbecue remake of a classic sandwich. Also, it’s a tasty way to use up leftover burgers or meatloaf.

Ingredients

  • 14 cup Big Burger Sauce, prepared
  • 2 tbsp Big Burger Sauce Mix
  • 1 cup light mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp relish
  • sriracha sauce, to taste - optional
  • 2 cooked burgers, cut into large pieces
  • 4 Greek-style pitas
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 12 cup shredded lettuce or spinach
  • 2 tbsp chopped red or white onion

Preparation

  • Thin Big Burger Sauce with a mixture of sriracha sauce and water until desired consistency.
  • Reheat the burgers until piping hot.
  • Warm pitas in the microwave or oven, if you wish.
  • Divide burger pieces between pitas. Top with tomato, lettuce, and onion. Drizzle Big Burger Sauce overtop.
