Beefed Up Shish Kebabs

A great choice for potlucks! Choose top sirloin—it cooks quickly at hot temperatures while staying juicy and flavourful, and it doesn’t break the bank.

Ingredients

  • 1 12 lbs (675 g) top sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 2 tbsp Shish Kebab Seasoning or Montreal Steak Rub
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 12 red onion
  • 3 cups small button mushrooms, about 8 oz
  • Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste
  • Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat grill to medium-high. Lightly brush with oil.
  • Chop steak, peppers, and onion into 1" pieces. Place steak pieces in a large bowl and toss with seasoning and 1 tbsp oil. Add chopped veggies and mushrooms to bowl and drizzle with remaining oil. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
  • Thread onto Grill Boss Skewers. Grill skewers with lid closed, 2–4 min per side, until lightly charred and steak is cooked to your liking.
  • If you have time, let kebabs rest 5 min before serving. Serve with sauce, if desired.
