Bacon Cheeseburger Dip

Whip up this quick and easy cheeseburger dip created by Nikole Sturgis! It'll be your new party favourite, packing all the flavours of a cheesy burger, minus the bun!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef, chicken, turkey, or meat substitute
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 5-6 slices bacon
  • 1 pkg Cheeseburger Pasta Seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10 oz/284 ml) Rotel® tomatoes
  • 1 brick (8 oz/250 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3–4 pickles
  • 2 green onions

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • In Multipurpose Steamer, add ground beef. Cover and microwave on high 3-5 min, or until beef is cooked through. Break up meat using Ground Meat Separator. Drain excess liquid; season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer beef to Square Steamer or 8"X8" baking dish.
  • Arrange bacon over tray in Multipurpose Steamer. Cover and microwave on high 4-5 min, or until crisp. Once cooled, crumble bacon. Set 1 tbsp aside for topping.
  • To steamer or dish with cooked ground beef, add crumbled bacon, seasoning, cheddar, tomatoes, cream cheese, and sour cream. Stir to combine. Bake, uncovered, 10 -12 min, or until heated through and bubbling.
  • Meanwhile, chop pickles and green onions.
  • Remove dip from oven, top with pickles, green onions, reserved, crumbled bacon and toppings, if desired.
  • Serve with tortillas chips or naan.
