Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 lb (450 g) center-cut fast fry pork loin chops, about 4 small chops
  • 1 large apple
  • 12 cup prepared Vegetable Broth or Nourish Broth
  • 1 12 tsp Vegetable Broth Mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 12 tsp Nourish Broth Mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 14 cup apple juice
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing Mix
  • 1 tbsp butter

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add pork chops; fry until browned, about 2–3 min per side. Remove from pan and keep warm.
  • Meanwhile, core and thinly slice apple.
  • Add sliced apple, broth, juice, vinegar, and dressing mix to pan, stirring to loosen brown bits. Simmer, 2 min, until apples have softened slightly.
  • Return pork to pan. Cover and simmer until meat is cooked through, about 3–4 min, turning once. Place pork on plates. Add butter to sauce; stir until melted. Spoon on top of pork.
